The concept

A physical campaign medium that reaches people at the right moment

CoolReach turns the bottle into your medium and the fridge into the eye-catcher. Brands pay for the campaign; the host venue receives the fridge and service free of charge. The fridge stands where the audience already is — and the brand goes with them into everyday life.

How it fits together

Three parties, one medium

CoolReach brings three parties together, so everyone gains value from the same moment. Brands pay for the campaign; hosts receive a free fridge and service.

The brand client

Pays for the campaign

Branded water bottles at selected venues — campaigns from a minimum of 3 months on 0.5 L. The brand client supplies the brand and label brief and approves venue types; CoolReach handles production, placement and operations. View campaigns.

The host venue

Receives the fridge and service free of charge

Provides space for the fridge and enhances the experience for its guests — while CoolReach runs the operation. The host provides floor space and a power socket and agrees any written exclusions. Become a host.

Key terms

Key terms, briefly explained

Six core terms that make CoolReach easy to understand — for brands, agencies and host venues.

Physical campaign medium

At CoolReach, the medium is the branded water bottle in a designer fridge. The bottle is what the guest takes along; the fridge is the eye-catcher at the venue. Together they form a physical campaign medium — visible where the audience already spends time.

Product sampling vs. CoolReach

Traditional sampling often hands out the product in passing. At CoolReach, the guest chooses to take a cold bottle in a calm setting (clinic, hotel, waiting area). The context is voluntary and positive — not intrusive. Read more under product sampling.

Brand activation

A bottle in hand is a concrete, physical activation: the brand is visible at the venue and goes with the guest when they move on. The format is the same as other CoolReach campaigns: a minimum of 3 months on 0.5 L. See brand activation.

OOH / ambient

CoolReach sits at the intersection of out-of-home and ambient: the message appears in spaces where people wait or spend a short time — not on a billboard, but in a fridge they encounter at eye level. It is physical marketing in premium settings, not digital display.

Host venue

A host venue is a clinic, a hotel or another premium venue that provides approx. 1 m² of floor space and a standard power socket. The host receives the fridge and service free of charge; CoolReach delivers, restocks and services. See how you become a host venue.

Campaign format

A CoolReach campaign runs on a 0.5 L bottle with your own design and, as standard, for a minimum of 3 months at the same venues. After the campaign you receive a written summary covering distribution, QR interactions and period. Read about measurement and documentation.

Two layers of branding

Two expressions working together

The bottle is designed for your brand. The fridge is CoolReach's eye-catcher. Together they catch the eye on site — and go home with the guest.

The bottle

Tailored to your brand

We design the bottle specifically for your campaign, so it carries your look and message — your brand alone, with no link to other causes.

CoolReach's designed eye-catcher

The process

From your brand to your audience's hand

  1. 1

    Your brand on the bottles

We design and print the bottles for your campaign.

  2. 2

    Placed with your audience

The fridge is installed at a venue frequented by your audience.

  3. 3

    CoolReach handles operations

We deliver, restock and take care of the practicalities.

  4. 4

    Carried onwards

The guest takes a complimentary bottle, and your brand goes with them into everyday life.

Why physical

A medium you hold in your hand

Digital exposure disappears the moment the screen is switched off. A free, cold bottle is held, used and carried onwards — creating a calm, positive encounter with your brand that stays with people. It is the difference between being scrolled past and being taken home.

Always stocked

We keep watch — so the fridge never stands empty

Every fridge is part of our fleet and monitored continuously. We can see how stock levels develop at each venue and plan restocking well in advance — rather than waiting for someone to notice it is empty.

  • Stock levels monitored continuously at every venue
  • Restocking happens before stock runs out
  • The host has nothing to keep track of — we run the operation
  • Uptake also forms the basis of your reporting

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the concept

What is the difference between CoolReach and traditional sampling?

Traditional sampling is often about handing out the product in passing. CoolReach is a physical campaign medium: your brand appears on complimentary water bottles in designer fridges, and guests take the bottle themselves in a calm setting. Campaigns run for a minimum of 3 months on 0.5 L as standard. See also product sampling.

Who pays, and who gets what?

The brand client pays for the campaign. The host venue receives the fridge and service free of charge. CoolReach handles delivery, restocking and operations. The guest receives a cold, complimentary bottle of water. Read more as a brand client or host.

Where are the fridges located?

At selected host venues — typically clinics, GP surgeries, dental practices, hotels, receptions, lounges and waiting areas. We agree venue types with the brand client based on the target audience. The network is primarily in Aalborg/North Jutland; the rest of Denmark by arrangement. We do not publish specific addresses here.

How do you make sure the fridge never stands empty?

We plan restocking so the fridge never stands empty. See also the “We keep watch” section on this page — and measurement and documentation.
